One More Gate is a rogue-lite game that combines exploration and turn-based strategic combat. Set out to explore fantastical locations, harness the power of Wakfu to create devastating card combinations, and defeat everyone who stands in your path!

Much like how virologists suddenly become railway or nuclear power plant experts depending on current headlines, game developers have seamlessly transitioned from assembly-line first-person horror production into equally assembly-line roguelike production (whatever they may mean by that). In this rather stylish game, you need to progress through compact locations, periodically engaging in turn-based battles with dogs, sheep, and spiders — at least in the beginning. Naturally, gigachad spiders are promised, and presumably... gigachad sheep as well. During combat, cards are drawn from your deck, and each card costs a certain number of action points within a turn, displayed at the top of the screen. If you spend all your action points during a turn, new points are unlocked for the following turn. If you fill the entire gauge, once it's fully charged you'll have the opportunity to unleash a super strike. Among other activities: you may encounter a casino chest that can randomly yield a bunch of bonuses or a bunch of monsters; blessings, branching paths, random events, and at the end of the road — elite mobs or bosses. Depending on your dungeon run results, you will receive varying amounts of experience and possibly new cards. On top of that, there is a hub town where you can interact with various characters.
